Location
913 Airport Road McBride, British Columbia V0J 2E0 Canada
Notes
This location has a number of wildlife corridors, and great deal of sheltered human-created habitat for rabbits. It does, however, also have a *high* density of predators, with at least 1 male brown bear, 1 female Canadian Lynx, several foxes, innumerable raptors, and at least 10 active, regularly hunting, outdoor domestic cats.

Appearance
My cat has now brought in two grey European rabbits (dead). Both appeared to be between 1.5kg and 2kg. 30cm to 35cm. These are eyeball guesses, and were not strictly measured. I believe that there is a breeding colony of European rabbits well established here, as I just saw the local Lynx going through the forest with a similarly sized grey rabbit, and other locals report their cats bringing in grey-coloured rabbits as well. I say these are likely European rabbits mostly due to colour and size. These were very clearly not snowshoe hares, nor were they jackrabbits. They could be Eastern cottontails, however, I suspect that European rabbit descent is more likely because the rabbits were pure grey, without any noticeable traces of brown.
