Single rabbit near Balaclava Street

Urgent
Location

1933 Balaclava Street Vancouver, British Columbia V6K 4B9 Canada

Notes

Small black baby bunny, appears to be alone and has been living there for a few weeks according to neighbours. They said the bunny was super small and now it’s close to a very small dwarf size. Located in a residential area just off West 4th Ave (a very busy street), the nearest colony of feral rabbits is Jericho Beach which is approximately 2 km of heavy residential land, with a lot of predators and people. This bunny also does not seem to be very fearful of people, dogs, or cars, I’m very concerned for it’s well-being. I don’t know how to help, I would be willing to capture the bunny but my dog is a high prey drive terrier so it wouldn’t be safe for me to bring it into my home.

Rabbits

1 domestic rabbit

Appearance

Small, looked like a dwarf with upright ears and fur appears to be dark brown and black . I have only seen it when I have my dogs with me, and I have to keep them away so I haven’t been able to get a photo.
