Sighting near River Parkway
Location
7008 River Parkway Richmond, British Columbia V6X 1X6 Canada
Notes
Just behind Real Canadian Superstore (4651 No. 3 Rd), heading east on River Pkwy, shortly before you arrive at Leslie Rd cross-street. Deceased (black) bunny right in the "median" (those hip-height slim poles, maybe painted with neon yellow? can't remember). Been there at least 2 days (first drove by it yesterday - Sept. 2nd; obviously hit, but seems "intact"), poor bunny.
Date Sighted
September 3, 2021
Rabbits
1 domestic rabbit
Appearance
Black, deceased (assuming it was hit by car).
Notes
Would have chosen "wild", but then form doesn't allow me to report that it is deceased; only opens that option if I note "domestic". "Not sure" doesn't seem to do anything. Sorry, I just tho't I'd report so poor bun could be removed from roadway. I've had to drive by it a few times now (yest and today); best route for where I need to go, but it's upsetting - partic, as it reminds me of one of my pet bunnies :-(
