Copied from public Facebook RHDV Information Page entry 8/16/22: “The WA ag dept isn’t testing anymore so no official report. 8.15.22 Probable case of RHDV2 in Shelton (Mason County) From the owner: 4 rabbits, outdoor pets, in small open run cage with hutch, 2 in each pen. I noticed some red on 2 noses, but didn't think much of it as I wasn't aware of RDHV2 at the time and the pairs would sometimes scuffle thru the pens. 1 died last week, no warning just a dead flopped bunny, no signs of foul play. Thought maybe got spooked or somehow ate something bad or maybe even the pellets could be spoiled. Two days later, his pen mate, exactly the same. Two more days later, one of the other pair, all looked the same just flopped over and a bit stretched out but not too much. Tonight the 4th died seizuring.
